Position/Title: Junior Social Media & Content Co-Ordinator

Overall Responsibility:
In this role you will assist with translating brand strategies into digital and social media plans that will aim to acquire new customers through brand awareness. Assisting brand marketing team with  planning, implementing, managing and monitoring all digital and social media plans in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. Responsible for the development of and management of original, high-quality content for the company’s digital platforms including social channels and websites. You will monitor, moderate and respond to audience comments and engagement across multiple social media channels.

Focus Brands & Region: Devil’s Peak, KIX, Striped Horse, St Francis, Strongbow

Focus Area 1: Contribute to the digital and social media strategy to align with business and brand goals and reach the target consumers
Assist with the development, implementation and management our digital and social media strategy
Perform research on current benchmark trends, target audiences and preferences

Focus Area 2: Facilitate increasing brand awareness, consideration and conversions through various social media & digital channels and content pieces
Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
Facilitate copy and content design against the topics to ensure content is informative, appealing and on brand strategy and objectives
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

Focus Area 3: Implement digital and social media strategies effectively
Implement a monthly content calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns and always-on activity
Create a regular content production and posting schedule, according to agreed budget Implement email marketing campaigns to facilitate digital conversion strategies
Implement google adverts to enhance the digital strategy

Focus Area 4: Facilitate day-to-day social media always on-content, campaigns and community management
Adhere to posting schedule and oversee social media content
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Assist with Google advertising management and implementation include external partners

Focus Area 5: Develop and manage digital content to communicate brand messages effectively
Develop and plan relevant content per brand, to communicate the brands message well
Engage with and manage external content development suppliers (photographers/ designers) 
Manage digital content on all brand websites, online stores and other digital channels

Focus Area 6 : Report on success of digital and social media campaigns
Measure the success of always-on social media activity and apply learnings monthly 
Report back on spend and performance against targets set
Use and identify new social media marketing tools as agreed

Requirements of the Role Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in marketing or a related field  
Years Experience: minimum of 1-2 years of digital and social media management, digital advertising or related industry experience  
Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry  
Creative eye and conceptualisation and copywriting ability   
Demonstrable experience contributing to or managing, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns  
Experience in planning and coordinating social media marketing plans  
Experience in budget management  
Experience in content development  
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (Ads Manager /Google Analytics etc.)
