Overall Responsibility:
The sales coordinator is a vital support role within a sales department, providing essential coordination, administrative assistance, and customer support.
Their efforts contribute to the smooth functioning of the sales team, improved customer satisfaction, and the achievement of sales targets.
The position requires an ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines, good judgment, dependability, and a professional, supportive attitude.

Focus Area 1: Operations & Communication
The sales coordinator acts as a central point of contact between the sales team, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
They schedule and organize sales meetings, conferences, and events.
They facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure effective sales operations.
The sales coordinator assists the sales team by providing necessary sales tools, materials, and resources.
They may help with sales training, onboarding new team members, and coordinating sales incentive programs.
They contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative sales team environment.
The sales coordinator assists the trade marketing team cross functionally with all vehicle processes in region 
Support line managers with  the onboarding process and providing the first contact point for new appointees in the region
Alongside sales-specific responsibilities, the sales coordinator may also handle general administrative duties such as managing calendars, arranging travel, and organizing documents.
They ensure efficient workflow and assist in maintaining an organized sales office.
Support the maintenance of customer master data cross functionally with TM, IT, Finance and Analytics to ensure master data supports the calling and coverage strategy
Supports cross functionally with the roll out and maintenance of policies and procedures
Act as a first telephonic point of call in region for customer queries and coordinates the correct response from the team

The sales coordinator provides administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, maintaining sales records, and tracking sales data.
They assist with the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
The sales coordinator assists in analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
They prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team and management.
They identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations based on sales analysis.
A sales coordinator must have a good understanding of the products or services offered by the company.
They stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
This knowledge enables them to effectively support the sales team and provide accurate information to customers.
Should be good with maintaining files, systems and database of sales records for the sales teams.

Bachelors Degree in Management or Commerce
Minimum of 3  years experience in FMCG environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Access and Excel
Familiarity with databases and sales software
